Introduction to the basic rubber process flow
1. Basic process flow
With the development of modern industry, there are many types of rubber products, including rubber sealing rings, silicone sealing rings, fluorine rubber sealing rings, etc. But the production process is basically the same. The production process of products using raw rubber as raw material mainly includes: raw material preparation → internal mixing → mixing → cutting → molding and vulcanization → burr processing → maintenance → packaging and shipment.
2. Raw material preparation
The main materials of rubber products are raw rubber and compounding agents. Raw rubber is the basic material, and compounding agents are auxiliary materials added to improve certain properties of rubber products. During the preparation of raw materials, ingredients must be accurately weighed according to the formula.
3. Secret refining
In order to make the raw rubber and compounding agents evenly mixed with each other, certain materials need to be processed. This process is called internal mixing.
4. Mixing
In order to adapt to various usage conditions and obtain various properties, as well as to improve the performance of rubber products and reduce costs, different compounding agents must be added to raw rubber. Mixing is a process in which the mixed raw rubber and ingredients are mixed, placed in a rubber mixing machine, and the ingredients are completely and evenly dispersed in the raw rubber through mechanical mixing.
5. Cutting materials
According to the weight and size of the product, cut it into strips of different sizes and weights and wait for molding and vulcanization.
6. Molding vulcanization
Put the cut strip raw materials into the mold, and use the high temperature of the molding machine to melt the raw materials in the mold and form them.
7. Burr edge processing
Separate burrs from products, including manual burring and mechanical burring.
8. Maintenance
Manually select products with poor appearance, which mainly include burrs, dirty molds, undercooking, lack of materials, blistering, etc.
9. Packaging
Shipping is based on different sizes and packaging in different quantities.
